Intimate Wedding photography Bristol registry office

Intimate & Micro weddings

I’ve been photographing intimate weddings at Bristol registry office for a number of years. Having shot weddings of all sizes, it is always the smallest of weddings that feel the most special. I can truly say it is always an honour to be able to witness such an intimate event and be part of a couples special day.

Small weddings are a beautiful reminder that marriage is really just about the commitment that two people make to each other. You don’t need to spend a massive amount of money or make your wedding a big fancy affair. Instead it is really all about two people committing to a life together, expressing their love, exchanging rings and ultimately being able to call each other husband and wife.

I have photographed intimate weddings as small as just the bride and groom with two witnesses but ultimately a micro wedding is classed as one with less than 15 guests. These style weddings became more popular during the height of the pandemic but are here to stay.

There have been many reasons why my couples have chosen a smaller wedding but generally I find it is because their family live further away and in some cases as far as the other side of the world. Having family so far away makes my job even more important, to be able to give the couple a beautiful record of the day for them to live over again but also to share with those that can’t be there with them.

As a photographer I always discuss what is important with my clients, I work with them to capture the images and pictures that they want and that reflect them. I offer special packages and pricing for this style wedding so please scroll to the bottom for this exclusive pricing.

Bristol Elopements

When you think of an elopement wedding, Bristol might not always be the first place that springs to mind but it is a popular UK elopement destination. I’ve found that it is not just people living locally that choose to get married here. I have had bride and grooms travel from places all around the world to say their vows in Bristol. Often it is a place that they have visited before and now holds a special place in their heart for whatever reason. They could have friends or family here, been to university here or met the love of their life and want to return to make their wedding feel extra special.
