Intimate wedding at Bristol registry office
My first wedding of 2017 was a lovely small intimate wedding at Bristol registry office. My smallest wedding to date with just a few immediate family members present to act as witnesses. It felt even more an honour than ever to be part of Emma & Kurt’s special day.
This wedding was a beautiful reminder that marriage is actually really about the commitment you make to each other. You don’t need to spend massive amounts of money or make your wedding a big fancy affair. Instead it is about two people committing to a life together, sharing their love with an eternal exchange of rings and ultimately being able to call each other husband and wife.
When your family live at the other side of the world, having a beautiful record of your day to share with them is equally as important as being able to re-live the day over and over again yourself. As a photographer I always discuss what is important with my clients. I work with them to capture the pictures they want and that reflect them.
The ceremony was held at Bristol registry office. It has many different rooms available to cater for weddings of all sizes. Emma & Kurt got married in the The Statutory Room, a small light airy room on the top floor ideal for intimate weddings. This room is only available during the week and allows up to a maximum of 4 guests.
After the short ceremony we headed outside to take photo’s on the steps. We had already discussed going to a few different location afterwards so we could visit some of the parts of Bristol that they loved.
